Finance Friend started as a set of guides and calculators for the big money decisions: buying a home, financing a car, budgeting, investing and taxes. This blog is where I'll cover what changes along the way.
What you'll find here
- Money news, explained. When interest rates, tax rules or prices move, I'll explain what changed in plain language - no jargon, no hype.
- What it means for you. Each post links to the calculator that lets you run your own numbers, so you can see how a change affects your payment or savings.
- Sources you can check. I link to where the numbers come from, like the Federal Reserve, the IRS or the Census Bureau.
What you won't find
Stock tips, predictions or "get rich quick" advice. Like everything on this site, posts are for education - not personal financial advice.
In the meantime, the Budget overview is a good place to start.
Want to see how this affects you? Try the mortgage, auto loan and retirement calculators, or go back to all posts.
